Analytical Development Chemist - Wicklow. In this role you will be responsible for the development and validation of chromatographic and other test methods as appropriate in accordance with regulatory guidelines. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Developing and Validating test methods for API's/Advanced Intermediates etc. Preparing analytical method development reports. Preparing analytical method validation protocols and reports. Writing and reviewing SOP's. Liaising with third parties on equipment or analytical test issues/requirements. Troubleshooting analytical issues. Assisting with root cause analysis (RCA. Responding quickly and positively to internal and external customers. Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team. Participating positively in team activities. Maintaining complete and accurate records. Education and Experience requirements: Essential: Third Level Qualification – Science / Chemistry (analytical) discipline or equivalent. Experience in a wide range of analytical techniques, particularly HPLC and GC. Circa 3-5 years’ experience in a method development/validation role in an FDA/HPRA regulated environment preferred. Experience of development and validation in the Pharma Industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail and good organisational skills. Mature judgment, problem solving and decision-making ability. Ability to operate in a team based environment. Skilled in the use of computers.
