Now, they are looking for an Operations and Production Manager to join them in Tinahely which is easily commutable from locations in County Wicklow, County Carlow, County Wexford and South Dublin. As the Operations and Production Manager, you will be tasked with driving performance and delivering the company strategy at our client’s production facility in Tinahely.A major aspect of your role will be people management and human resources-related. Overseeing all aspects of HR and staff management, you will provide performance and development overviews for staff and align individual goals with company strategy. Directly managing one of three rotating shifts, you’ll line manage a Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor for each shift who oversee around 16 operators and four support staff per shift. Your other activities will include: - Ensuring that all areas of production are delivered on time and to target. - Establishing and monitoring KPIs, drive uptake and adherence to 6S. - Minimising downtime and maximising OEE. - Ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and BRC Quality Management standards. - Acting as a vital agent of change and advocating and driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Hiring new Operators and managing HR including disciplinary actions, attendance and absenteeism. - Developing our appraisal and performance review system. - Participating in union meetings.
