Head Chef – Nursing Home - Wicklow. A Head Chef job in a Nursing Home in Wicklow North. If you have 3 years experience as a Head Chef in a nursing home, hospital or community care unit, have strong menu planning, budgeting & special dietary skills this could be your new job for 2019. Working with the Unit Manager the Head Chef will ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, deliver choice and quality menu options & maintain operational budgets. A good communicator who works well with people to achieve the common goal – Excellence in food services to both residents & staff. Day Time Hours & Weekend Cover is on Rotation Call. You Have: · Previous experience as a Head Chef in managing a team, training, rostering and managing budgets. · Operated a nursing home or hospital kitchen before - Prepared, cooked & presented meals – incorporating options for specific diets. · Ensured HACCP compliance & team cooperation at all times. · A working knowledge with HIQA & Special Diets for the elderly (Soft Diets etc.) Three Q Perms and Temps is your hands-on recruitment team.
