Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing development of products for the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industries in the USA, Europe and Asia, and are seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. Located in Wicklow, the Finance team are responsible for all financial operations within the EMEA Region. The Role. The Cost Accountant is responsible for the following: Quarterly budgeting and review of forecasts. Reporting of profit by customer. Monthly reporting of material costs and variances. Inventory valuation. Prepares accounting entries and reconciles balance sheet accounts for month end closing. Prepares monthly management reporting pack. Validates lean savings. Complies with SOX requirements. The Person. Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA. Minimum 3 years' post qualified experience. 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organisational, time management and administration skills required. SAP or similar ERP system is highly desirable. The Benefits. Salary: up to €65,000 benefits.
