What you need to know. You will work as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our client, an established medical manufacturing company in the Wexford area. There are a number of jobs available both on a permanent & contract basis, opportunities for the right candidate. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Designs, develops and implements new products, processes, test methods and equipment. Participates and leads cross-functional teams on complex and diverse projects. Provides technical support on components, material methods, systems and equipment. Designing and implementing new and complex process/equipment into process. Manages project planning, budgeting, scheduling and tracking on large complex and multiple site projects. Analyzes problems in design, process and test development. Recommend/implement solutions. Drives continuous improvement on site. Develops and implements procedures/policy. Capable of managing and leading a small team of engineers, mentoring and coaching. What are we looking for? Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Polymers) or related. Minimum of 6-8 years in similar role within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Medical devices preferred but not essential. Experience supervising and managing direct reports. Polymers experience is desirable. Black Belt Certified preferred. Can do attitude.
