Job Duties: •Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies and procedures. •Maintain staff by orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities. •Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to manufacture within process control points; initiating and fostering spirit of cooperation within and between departments. •Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. •Maintains a quality service by enforcing organizational standards. •Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs. •Provides manufacturing information by compiling ,sorting and analysing production performance records and data answering questions and responding to requests. •Maintains systems and procedures by analysing, operating practices, record keeping systems forms of control. •Maintains a safe clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment and resources; maintain compliance with established policies and procedures. •Maintain a working relationship with works committee by following agreements. •Resolves personnel problems by analysing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action. •Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops. •Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. •Experience in computer controlled production systems. Skills and Qualifications: •At least 3 years supervisory experience. •Coaching and management processes. •Process improvement. •Production planning. •Good people management skills. •Good technical skills. •Problem solving skills. •Good technical skills. •Experience in high volume manufacturing. •High level of computer skills.
