Looking for a fast paced and challenging Quality Assurance Deputy Manager position in the south Wicklow area? If the answer is yes then please read the below… The Role: Deputy HACCP and food defence team. Provide instruction and guidance for Laboratory team. Compliance with Company Quality policy and objectives. Responsible for quality assurance. Creating revising test procedures for raw materials semi- finished and finished goods. Coordination of hygiene controls and procedures. Coordination of microbiological and analytical investigations. Coordination of sample controls and retention sampling and storage. Maintenance control and administration of recipes in QAD, mixer lists and ingredient calculations. Optimisation of process with regard to quality assurance and traceability. Testing and approval of new raw material and raw material specifications/supplier specifications with regard to QA. Involvement and cooperation with project teams. Production support at first production. Responsible for complaint management: processing, answering and evaluation of complaints, internal communication of the evaluation of complaints, twice a year to responsible departments. Responsible contact for customer QA relevant topics. Handling all product-specific inquiries. Creating and checking new packaging texts, declarations and product information, also with regard to feed law requirement, revision of existing packaging declarations. Coordinating and planning of all eternal investigations as well as sourcing and coordinating external laboratories. Planning of customer-specific external and internal analysis within QA as per contractual agreements with customers. The Person: Diploma/Degree in quality food science. In depth knowledge of HACCP and food legislation. Good people manager. Good problem solving skills. Must be excellent communicator. Attentive to detail. Excellent computer skills.
