PART-TIME AND FULL-TIME POSITIONS. Job Description: The role of architect at RENOVA is to prepare concept design proposals for clients. And to work with these clients to develop these proposals into final design drawings and specifications. The main focus of the role is pre-contract. You will work alongside our quantity surveyor to negotiate and finalise project plans. Once there is agreement on the design and specification, the file is handed over to our construction team for working drawings and construction. Our architect will not be responsible for tendering, preparation of working drawings, certification of payments, final account negotiations. The role is therefore weighted towards design rather than administration. Experience: Experience in the front end of the project design process will be more relevant than experience in project administration. Experience of domestic architecture will be more relevant than commercial design experience. Responsibilities: Design meetings with clients, preparation of concept design drawings, presentations to clients. Finalising plans and specifying finishes. Skills: Our Architect must possess the following skill: • Confident people person. • Engaging communicator. • Organised worker. • Ability to multi task. • Ability to manage their time and workload. • Team player. Qualifications: This appointment will be made based on experience and ability to fulfil the role. Part-time / Full-time: We have part-time and full-time positions available. Flexible working hours may be considered. Training: Comprehensive training will be provided for the role.
