Finance Business Partner (12 Month Contract. Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. €65,000 - €75,000 DOE Plus Healthcare Scheme, 22 Days’ Annual Leave. If you are an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualified accountant, this is a fantastic opportunity to take on a highly rewarding contract with a globally-reaching charity. Currently operating in 13 countries, GOAL is a global humanitarian aid charity that has helped tens of millions of people over the last 40 years. They are now looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12 month contract that has the potential to extend. In this important role, you’ll have the chance to make a positive, lasting impact on the organisation on a global scale and play a key part in ensuring the charity’s financial health. You’ll have the chance to experience the amazing work GOAL does whilst supporting the finance aspect of aid projects and ensuring resources are allocated effectively. As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a leading role in GOAL’s financial activities ensuring effective cashflow and planning are in place to ensure successful operations. You will enhance GOAL’s workflow processes on a global basis and have particular focus on debtors activity and positive financial health. Acting as a vital member of the Finance Team, you will: - Lead financial strategy, planning and forecasts. - Build, deliver and support a global financial infrastructure to facilitate GOAL’s growth. - Work closely with the Senior Management Team and Regional Directors on major applications, budgeting work plans and cash flow. - Monitor cash transactions and investigate any unusual items. - Prepare cash flow reports and evaluate any variances. - Undertake a small amount of travel (no more than 20%) To be considered, you’ll need: - To be an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualified accountant. - Industry experience gained at senior level within an international, corporate or blue chip environment. - Strong managerial skills. - Strong IT skills, including expert MS Excel skills and the ability to use complex modelling techniques. Articulate and decisive, as the Finance Business Partner, you’ll have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. You’ll also be highly motivated and able to communicate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external constituencies. Ideally, you’ll have a Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business, but this isn’t essential. Finance experience gained in the NGO sector would also be an advantage.
