Refrigeration Engineer. Dublin 24, Co. Dublin (with occasional travel. €Excellent DOE. Our client is a globally reaching engineering group that assists in the provision of a multitude of air movement products, systems, solutions and associated services. As the company expends, they are now seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to join them in Dublin. You’ll be supported to deepen your existing knowledge, hone your skills and realist your full potential. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will service and maintain our client’s plant and equipment. Working in a safe manner at all times, you’ll take ownership of issues and swiftly diagnose faults to minimise downtime. Specifically, you will: - Service plant and equipment in-line with the PPM schedule. - Respond to emergency call-outs. - Review any H&S issues. - Liaise with specialist subcontractors. - Identify additional works required and advise the helpdesk. To be considered, you’ll need: - At least five years’ experience of servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment, including VRV systems, split AC units, water chillers and close control units. - The ability to troubleshoot, correct and determine the root cause of technical issues. - The ability to read, analyse, interpret technical data and technical procedures. - An F-Gas certification. - A full, clean driving licence. Hands-on and analytical, as a Refrigeration Engineer, you will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a team player mentality. You will also be highly organised with the ability to work on your own initiative. As part of your role, you will be required to take part in an on-call rota and occasionally work outside of standard hours. Occasional travel and overnight stays may also be required.
