Serving some of Ireland’s biggest contractors, our client is a successful provider of air conditioning and building services. They are now looking for an HVAC Engineer to join their team. If you’re an F-Gas qualified or RGI certified engineering professional from a strong mechanical background, this is a brilliant opportunity to develop a rewarding and stimulating career. As an HVAC Engineer, you will be tasked with maintaining a range of our client’s equipment at sites throughout Dublin. Visiting shopping centres, commercial developments, Data Centres and industrial facilities, you’ll service and commission a variety of chillers, heating plant, AHUs, split and VRV systems. Carrying out both reactive and preventative maintenance activities, you’ll identify any faults and resolve them in a timely manner. Think you can keep your cool whilst under pressure? To be considered, you must have: - Engineering experience gained within the HVAC and/or mechanical maintenance industry. - Experience of working with AHUs, VRV systems, splits and pumps. - A City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas qualification, RGI certification or electrical qualification. - The willingness and ability to guide and teach apprentices. - A full driving licence. This role may also suit senior level apprentices seeking their next step. Proactive and focused, as an HVAC Engineer, you must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work on your own initiative. Ideally, you will have at least two years’ post-apprenticeship experience, but this is by no means essential.
