They are now looking for an Assembly Production Supervisor to join their team in Bray. As an Assembly Production Supervisor, you will be tasked with ensuring that our client’s production line fulfils customers’ order requirements. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will balance and align resources and personnel to meet quality, schedule and cost objectives. You will co-ordinate and schedule the production line in conjunction with the planning and materials teams and work to improve equipment, processes, procedures and methods. You will work closely with other Departments, such as Process Engineering and Quality, to ensure the highest quality of products is produced and all elements of the production line are operating at maximum efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure all staff are trained effectively, developed where required and managed to ensure a happy, productive workforce that can support and achieve business objectives. If so, you will need: - At least ten years’ experience as a production line supervisor or within a similar position. - A working knowledge of quality standards, certifications and specifications typical within the IVD industry. - A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. - A degree or diploma (or equivalent) in a science or production or process engineering discipline. Logical and organised, as an Assembly Production Supervisor, you will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork and health and safety and the ability to handle change and make decisions.
